Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated marketing communications manager to join our growing sales and marketing team in our Cerritos, CA office. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for marketing and strong communication and organizational skills. The Marketing Manager will work with the CEO to develop and execute strategies focused on increasing brand awareness and driving interest in our products and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess both right and left brain skills; with the ability to develop creative solutions to marketing challenges and then execute flawlessly. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and focus on executing marketing strategies to support traditional and digital marketing initiatives and lead generation programs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain marketing communications content and materials, including: Investor-facing, client-facing and internal-facing presentations , Website content , Social media content , Brochures , White papers/articles , Case studies , Press releases , E-blast content , Video creation , Graphics creation , Branded materials and other customer communications
  • Measure effectiveness of events and marketing campaigns and recommend optimizations
  • Develop and maintain market research and competitor analysis
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys
  • Develop enough of a technical understanding to investigate new market opportunities
  • Make Website updates using Strapi
  • Make Intranet updates using SharePoint
  • Make Social Media updates using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Manage external designers on marketing projects
  • Support marketing team, as a project manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute marketing initiatives

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

Skills, Experience, Education, and Abilities

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, Business Management or comparable degrees
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing or public relations experience in a relevant industry- oil and gas, industrial equipment, power generation, aerospace, engineering or similar
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple social media platforms
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Strong working knowledge of content management systems, such as Strapi, and customer relationship management systems, such as SalesForce
  • Ability to develop strategic and creative solutions
  • Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects from inception to execution
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct supervisory responsibilities. Candidate must be able to manage external agencies and consultants.

Physical Demands

Time will mostly be spent in the office.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
