Jeremy Liu is the Chief Product Engineer at Sapphire Technologies. He has over 20 years of experience in precision rotating machinery, magnetic bearings, and electromechanical system integration.
Jeremy joined Calnetix in 2012, leading the development of high-speed motors, variable speed drives, and magnetic bearing systems. He launched Sapphire Technologies in 2021, and leads system architecture design and technology roadmapping for FreeSpin(R) In-line Turboexpander.
He began his career at Northrop Grumman’s Space Park facility, where he engineered mission-critical mechanisms for satellites. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
