The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for leading all manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions to ensure efficient, scalable production of our turboexpander and power-electronics systems. This individual will drive operational excellence, implement strategic processes, and partner cross-functionally to support the company’s growth as we deliver innovative, sustainable energy solutions for a cleaner future.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing operations for assembly and testing of Turboexpanders and Power Electronics, including developing strategies to scale operations as the business grows and aligning production schedules with sales and delivery requirements.
  • Oversee supply chain management, including supplier relationships, production and development support, quality assurance, lead time optimization, and cost control.
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve and sustain ISO certification.
  • Provide program management leadership for turnkey Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) projects and other suppliers supporting field installations.
  • Serve as an executive interface with Engineering and Sales to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and lead times meet business and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading technology and engineering operations across domestic and global platforms.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing processes and methodologies.
  • Preferred: Experience in both large and small companies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and skills to build and grow a business.
  • Experience managing technical teams and resources.
  • Knowledge of high-speed rotating turbomachinery and inverter technology is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (customers, investors, employees).
  • Experience in industrial, energy, technology sectors—especially B2B in power generation, renewables, clean energy, etc.
  • Experience with ERP systems and ISO 9001.
  • Strong project and financial management skills.
  • High-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter with proven leadership instincts.
  • Track record of leading projects and teams to achieve milestones and deliverables for investors and key stakeholders.
  • Team player, receptive to ideas, shares information, and keeps stakeholders informed.
  • Motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage development projects from concept to production efficiently, ensuring milestones and goals are met.
  • Certification knowledge in CE, PED, UL, etc. is a plus.
