VP of Sales

The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading our sales efforts and driving revenue growth. This individual will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets, while providing guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team.   • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Build and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop and implement effective sales strategies to capture market share.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development and improve sales strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, business development and marketing to drive successful sales initiatives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a similar global industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the energy, oil and gas and/or Cleantech industries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify market trends and develop sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
